Thanks to Tasha for making our video used at the beginning of the ONE series. It was pretty cool to see some of those photos from a long time ago, and we know it must have taken a long time to do it.

So did everyone have a great time in the new youth room this past Sunday? If you haven't gone to check it out yet, you should definitely come on over and see what it's all about.
For those of you who were there, we'd love to hear what you thought about our first service in the worship center. If you have any positive or negative feedback that can help us improve worship please feel free to let us know.

You can comment on this post to tell us what you think. Or you can go to our Facebook page and leave us a message or you can e-mail us directly at spymedia@yahoo.com.

Thanks,
-Mitch-

Not to be confused with the popular tune by Hillsong United, but the TIME HAS COME!!!!!!!!!.
Yes, it is time to make the move from the Fellowship Hall into our new YOUTH ROOM!!!!!.
August 16th is the date. Mark your calendars/phones and be there!

So I was perusing my iTunes this week and I came across this song, The Heart of Life, by John Mayer.
Ok, I didn't come across it, because I probably listen to it daily. But have you ever been listening to a song, more than likely a secular song, and have been overcome by a deeper meaning?

Camp Alamisco 09 07/17/2009

Picture

Camp Alamisco is quite possibly the greatest place on the planet. To me there is nowhere else where a person can come into quite as close contact with God. Especially when we had the camp we just had. When you put together some great counselors who truly love God, a band to lead unbelievable worship, and a group of kids who are ready to have intense fun and are ready to experience God in new ways, you get one amazing week. But I always leave the camp grounds with a heavy heart. I have come to accept the fact that some campers dont take advantage of the amazing things that can happen at camp. Coming from a person whose life changed dramatically at camp, it hurts so bad to know that some of them have to wait another you to get that same experience. There aren't too many people who love this place more than me and I had an unbelievable week.
Over the next couple of days, there will be some pictures from camp in the media page. Sorry about the Alamisco updates, they wound up not having public wifi.

No Youth. 07/08/2009

There will be no Youth this Sunday July 12th and all youth activities are canceled for the week of July 12th unless otherwise notified. The band and youth leaders will be at Camp Alamisco from the 12th through the 17th. Please pray for a safe and fun week for all the staff, counselors, and campers as we experience God in new and exciting ways. Youth will be back on its regular schedule on Sunday July 19th.
